Frequently Asked Questions

Who are you?
We are the Upstate Gator Club, an official chapter of the UF Alumni Association, and the #1 resource for Gator alum, friends, and family in the Upstate. From family-friendly viewing parties to cookouts and volunteer opportunities, we thrive on bringing Gators together and showing the world that the Gator Nation is Everywhere!

Who is the UFAA?
The University of Florida Alumni Association was organized and chartered in 1906 by the first group of graduates from the Gainesville campus. Today, alumni on record total nearly 350,000, with over 50,000 belonging to the UFAA. We have alumni in every state and in more than 100 foreign countries.

Where can I watch Gator games with other Gators?
We usually partner with a great locally owned venue to host our viewing parties, but there are a few special occasions where we spread the love. Check our schedule to find out where we'll be next.

Are there membership dues?
Membership in the UFAA is all you need to be a dues-paying member in the Upstate Gator Club. While we do not require it to attend our events, we will on occasion offer special opportunities to our dues-paying members.

What are you raising money for?
Our fundraisers have two goals; to keep bringing you awesome events and to help future Gators out.

How can I keep up with you?
We're on Twitter, Facebook, and deliver periodic emails via UpstateGatorClub@gmail.com.
